Help! I have to make a model of a plant cell and have no idea what to use! I'm using a piece of tupperware as the cell wall/cell membrane but don't know what to use as the chloroplast, goldi apparatus, ribosomes, nucleus, vacuole, mitochondrion, endoplasmic reticulum, nucleus envelope, and nucleolus! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Here is my suggestion. Instead of tupperware get a ziploc bag to use for the cell membrane. Then use different materials to represent the parts. For example you could use cut up pieces of a pipe cleaner to represent the Cytoskeleton, small round beads for the Lysosomes, larger oval green beads for the Chloroplast, boiled Fettucini Noodles for the Endoplasmic Reticulum...and so forth and so on.
Put all the items in the bag and then fill with something like Karo syrup or baby oil. Close the bag and voila! Instant model of a plant cell.
Good luck and hope my suggestion helps you.

Since you are making a plant cell, which has a hard cell wall, I would stick with the tupperware, which could be similarly filld with Karo syrup, baby oil, or perhaps jello.
