What arthropod has green glands? What exactly are green glands?...help...asp!!

Many crustacea (i.e. lobster, crabs, crayfish) have green glands. Crustacea are the dominant anthropods in the marine environment.
Green glands are the excretory glands of certain crustacea (or antennal glands). They are called antennal glands because they are located near the base of each second antenna and are green in color. I tried to find you a diagram of the green gland, but unfortunately I had no luck. Hope this info is helpful. |
