Though this belongs in the high school sports, I wanted to post it hear as a reminder of what sports is at it's best. An Ohio teen named Jake Porter has been on his school's football team but not allowed to play because he cannot take a hit. Jake is a developmentally challenged person with a form of retardation. The coach wanted to put him in on the last play of the season (just to take a knee), but after letting the opposing teams coach meet him and tell him that Jake could not take a hit, the coach insisted that his team would let Jake score. When Jake got the ball he got confused and turned around, but the players on both teams and all the fans were pointing to the
endzone and telling him to run. And run he did, scoring a 49 yard touchdown. The fans poured onto the field in celebration...for a game they had just lost 42 -6. If you would like to read more about it go to the nbc4columbus.com webpage and you can see the incredible video of what sports really should be.

(Just click on Feed Room when you get
to the site. The story is awesome)
