My son, 8 years old, has joined a swim team (he's the youngest on the team, and very good might I add.) (Have to brag a little, thanks). His hair is awful from the chlorine. Can anyone suggest a good shampoo and conditioner for swimmers? We were told white vinegar, but doesn't seem to help and have tried "Beach Blonde" shampoo which seems better then nothing. Also, does a swim cap help? Thanks in advance, Steve. ++++++++++ 08-05-03, 07:22 AM samantha According to the manufacturers of UltraSwim Shampoo "Chlorine strips your hair of life - leaving it dry, brittle and unmanageable. UltraSwim is uniquely formulated to remove chlorine and chlorine odor from hair while it replaces lost moisture. This non-drying formula gently removes build-up of harmful elements such as chlorine & oxidized metals." Also comes in a conditioner...I heard it works good Steve.
Also wearing a swim cap is much better but being a boy doubt he will want to do that...

08-05-03, 08:18 AM methos Swim caps help a lot. A lot of male competitive swimmer wear them. Ultraswim is decent. I used to use something by Revelon and something by Paul Mitchell, but I've forgotten what the exact names were. Your/your wifes barber/hairdresser may have some good suggestions.
Great to hear about this, it's a great sport Big Grin

UltraSwim does work really well.
