Kalena, try Encarta (http://encarta.msn.com/) or InfoPlease (http://infoplease.com/). You'll have to search for the topics in World History you need to research, but these sites have large databases of information.

Although it isn't online, A Concise History of the World by JM Roberts is a useful World History book.

This may sound flippant, but you're not going to find any place that holds all the world's history. That's a lot of history! There is also a danger in relying on one source because it is only one point of view. I'd suggest that you make searches on a tool like google or altavista or yahoo or askjeeves using keywords of topics you are interested in and then take a look at those sites returned from the search.
