During the Nazi Days many children were brought into the Hitler Youth Camps, many of whom were born out of wedlock (since the S.S. men were told to go out and spread their "perfect genes") or were part of the Superman Breeding Program most of these had no idea who their parents were.

All of these children were indoctrinated into the Nazi Political/Religious ideals.

The there was that war and the war was lost by Germany.

One thing I do not recall in my high school education was what exactly happened to those thousands of children.

What happened to them? Where did they go and how (if even they were) were they "reeducated"?

Any sites would be great.

Consider that the oldest of them would have been only about 8 years old when the war ended. Probably they were simply lost in the mass of kids left orphaned by the war.

David, it is so strange that you would ask this question, at this moment.

Yesterday, just out of curiousity, I started searching Holocaust websites. I have always been interested in reading survivor stories, (I read my first account of the Holocaust horrors when I was in 5th grade, and it wasn't Anne Franke).

Is this the group of children you are referring to? (I apologize for the long link but the URL function hasn't been working for me )

Another good link.

I do not know what prompted my thoughts to go in this direction, but it crossed my mind I just wondered what happened.

Thanks all.
