Alger Hiss was accused of spying for the former Soviet Union. At one point there was mention about secrets delivered inside a pumpkin. Under the Senate investigations, Richard Nixon played a big hand & made a name for himself.

There has been much debate over the years about Alger Hiss. Was it ever truly established that Alger Hiss spyed for the Soviets??? And if so what was the impact of the work he did do for them???
