With the approach of the 43rd anniversary of the death of Jack Kennedy, other Answerpool members, who are interested, might like to spend an hour or two looking at "The Smoking Gun", a documentary on the shooting. There are two chapters each with 5 segments.

Particularly interesting are the statements in Chapter 2 by the mistress of Lee Harvey Oswald.

At one time I was really a fanatic about the Kennedy assassination; read everything I could get my hands on about it. On Jeeves, I even had a long debate with JohnGalt, arguing conspiracy versus Oswald. Over time, I pretty much lost interest; if anymore significant information comes out, it will probably be after my demise.

I had an interest too, Juan. As a matter of fact, I still do.

And yeah, it was definitely a conspiracy. Smile

There was an interesting programme on the BBC recently which went into the assassination of Robert Kennedy. In it, a film-maker investigating the assassination of Robert Kennedy claims to have found new images from the night he was shot. It postulates that three CI.A. agents who were all virulently anti- Kennedy, (in particular one, David Morales, a C.I.A. operative who was also suspected of being involved with the assassination of J.F.K.) were present at the Ambassador Hotel that night.

It is interesting to note that the autopsy of Robert Kennedy said he had been shot in the head at close range from BEHIND, whilst the man who was imprisoned for the crime, Sirhan Sirhan, was in front of R.F.K.

Strange that the two Kennedy's and Martin Luther King, were all assasinated supposedly by "lone nutters", despite all three being involved in the Civil rights movements.

Some of our American cousins might be interested in watching the film.

New evidence

Talking about Martin Luther King, how many Americans are aware of the trial about M.L.K.? "According to a Memphis jury's verdict on December 8, 1999, in the wrongful death lawsuit of the King family versus Loyd Jowers "and other unknown co-conspirators,"

"Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated by a conspiracy that included agencies of his own government. Almost 32 years after King's murder at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis on April 4, 1968, a court extended the circle of responsibility for the assassination beyond the late scapegoat James Earl Ray to the United States government."
Ray not responsible

It appears that the man named as being part of the conspiracy was one Frank Libero, who turns out to be an associate of non other than Carlos Marcello. Remember him? He was one of those who were involved in the assassination of J.F.K.

Further interesting reading at:-

Marcello and Hoover

And still people think that J.F.K. was murdered by a lone gunman?
