Would anyone know about some facts related to William C. Durant founder of GM automobile being a Democrat who had a grudge against H. Ford being a Republican and how they would compete in business and because of political differences?
Someone told me some facts and I really didn't find much about it so far. Urban legend or true?

BTW. I found out that H.Ford was a Democrat and Durant was also a Democrat who later changed to become a Republican. Just in case you would be interested.
