Are you asking about a juicer? If so, there are many different types available for online purchase. This one states that the "juicing cone accommodates everything from small limes to large grapefruits...with a final fast-spin cycle, the juicer squeezes as much juice as possible from the remaining pulp so you enjoy delicious, full glasses"

How many oranges would you need to make one glass of juice?

It seems like it would take a lot.

Clare, it depends on the size of the orange and how juicy they are. It takes 4-5 Valencia oranges to make a 16 oz glass of juice...definately more if you were to use Mandarin.

Thanks for your respons. I'm not exactly asking for a juicer.

In fact I would like to industrialy transform mandarin in juice. But at a mid level. That is why I'm asking for mini process, but not the one that I can use at home.

I hope it is will be more understanding for you.

Thanks again

Fase, thanks for your patience with our responses. There seems to be a slight language barrier and you are doing a good job trying to use our language. Don't give up on us - we'll still keep on trying to answer your question. We might need to know a little bit more, tho. Can you tell us more about what you want to do? Do you want to have a small business that manufactures orange juice? Because whether you do it on a consumer level or industrial level some sort of juicer will be involved. Or are you wanting to know the step by step process of manufacturing juice?

Welcome to AnswerPool and please continue to use this site Smile

There is some information here that might be helpful:

Continuous high pressure carbon dioxide processing of mandarin juice:

Mandarin cultivar 'Murcott' is harvested from January to March and has an excellent eating-quality. However, processing of juice with heat treatment causes undesirable changes in quality including off-flavor. Continuous high pressure CO2 pasteurization is an alternative method without altering the original quality of fresh juice.

And this site shows step by step processing of orange juice. I figure the steps will be the same (or very close to the same) for Mandarine oranges.

If you have been looking at this as a business, surely you have contacted businesses that sell the equipment to do this. The equipment costs would vary from business to business as well as country to country based on taxes, shipping costs and many other factors.

Also, the volume at which you would like to produce isn't information you have yet provided, it would be very difficult to assess the costs.

Are you looking at selling at a small exclusive market? Are you looking to become competitive at a larger market?
