Has anyone had the problem of the dog thinking it is the only one who is supposed to eat gobbling up all of the cat food? I have had two dogs do this. The cat food is expensive. I don't really like buying it for dogs. Anyone solved the problem of the dog being a pig?

What if you put the cat's food at a higher surface, like a counter top?

Most people I know that have both dogs & cats keep the cat food on a countertop. I don't much like my cats on the kitchen counters, so I designated an old microwave cart just for the cat's food & water, and have it in the corner of the dining room. One suggestion here, would be to make sure it's snug into a corner and put the food in the corner.

They tend to push the food dish around and it ended up on the floor twice big grin big grin

Good Luck!

When we had a cat a long time ago with our two big dogs. We did what giz said put it up high or in a room that the dogs do not go. I didn't allow my cat to get on my kitchen counters that is just gross. Good luck!
