How can I keep my kitten out of my avacado tree? Each day I come home from work I see she has been in it. She won't go in it when I am home though. I have the spray to keep cats/dogs out of things but it doesn't seem to bother her.

Nadca - is the kitten getting into the base of the plant...lying on the dirt in the pot or is she climbing into the tree itself or chewing on it?

If it's just on the pot, I'd suggest you take some tin foil and crinkle it up and place it on the top of the pot. This should discourage her from lying there. Another option is to place some double sided sticky tape on the top - cats hate that. You would only need to do it for a little while until she got out of the habit of thinking it was someplace for her to hang out.
