My kitty haz a zmall patch of zkin right on the inzide of hiz ear where the hair juzt beginz to end....he keepz zcratching at it and it iz getting raw...I called the vet and zhe zaid it zoundz like it might be ringworm....NO clue HOW he could get thiz..he iz indoor only and never around any cat except hiz zizter Lucy....of courze the vet zaid zhe needz to zee him to be zure...I am wondering though iz there any OTC topical med I can uze....I juzt dropped over 600 dollarz on him with hiz urinary tract infection and really can't afford it unlezz I have to. thankz

if there is a chance that it is ringworm, you really need to take him to the vet, because ringworm is contagious, not only to other cats, but also to humans.

hi mizty....yez I took him thiz morning....NOT ringworm...juzt dry zkin...I have an cream to put on it twice a day

well I could say I aquired an accent but my "S" key had been murdered by the female cat....my brother fixed it. Smile
