Have you seen those little plug-in mini vaporizers in the cold remedy aisle? Get one and plug it in near your kitties' favorite hang out zone... If you have a liquid potpourri diffuser, fill it with water and a few drops of eucalyptus oil. Stop using any other room frangrance products (sprays, candles, etc)because they can be an irritant to your sinuses and the kitties' when your poor schnozzes are already out of sorts. Speaking of room scents... Did your "colds" started since you put up a scented holiday decoration, or dug out dusty winter things from a closet?... if so, you could all be a bit allergic. A mister bottle filled with plain water sprayed around the house will settle airborne particles, follow up with a thorough vaccuuming... no carpet sprinkles!
Do not give any milk, cream or other dairy based treat because dairy encourages mucus production in critters just like in humans.
I hope you all feel better soon

your cats probably have upper respiratory infection and it is very contagious. i had 6 at one time with the sneezing and had to give them all antibiotics for over a week. it wasn't fun, but i don't think they can get well without the antibiotics. the vet said it is air borne and even if your cats are inside cats, you can bring the infection in the house on your shoes. all my cats stay indoors, but they still got sick.

thanks MrsS for your input. i have been taking alergie medicine and doing a lot of moving of things around here the day before we got sick. it could be partially that. i agree on the milk...that usually makes them feel worse...they only drink water. guess i will have to call the vet and see if they can give me some meds for them. i hate feeling sick and not being able to do much for them. hope we are better soon too....thank you.

You might call up your local humane society. They often offer low cost vet care for simple issues like minor infections and vaccinations.
If you've had the same vet for a while, the office will probably let you make payments instead of having to pay all at once... get one kitty checked out and if it is a respiratory infection, the vet will almost certainly prescribe enough meds for all your babies.
