Hi ,I hope someone can help.I have 2 male neutered cats and last year my sone moved home wth a female who is not fixed.Shortly after arriving she went into heat and a milky substance was discharged.I assumed this was the ""female thing"" and when she went out of heat it stopped.Well a year has passed and it is gradually getting worse. It is to the point now that she drips this constantly staining my furniture and even drips a little when she walks. She shows no signs of being ill.She eats well- plays- is very affectionate -and by no means in distress.Anyone ever had this problem or know what may be causing it??????????

Take her to a vet- consistant discharge is not normal and unless you're a breeder, she should be spayed ASAP.
If money is a problem, the local shelters always have programs to assist with the cost of spaying/neutering pets.

We live where there is no help for the cost of fixing the cat or any veterinaty costs.I thought someone out there may have had a sinilar problem and could suggest some herbal or homeopathic remedy that we might try.If she starts to show any signs of distress(which she has not) I will definetly takeher to get help, but I was hoping someone out there had a similar problem and could give me an idea as to what this was.Thankyou so much for replying to this and anyone out there?????can you help????Have you had a similar problem and know what this is??

As MrsS said, consistant discharge is not normal. Your cat should be seeing the vet annually for shots and a check-up anyway, so you could bring this up at your next visit if it is not too far into the future, but the cat should definitely be "fixed" as soon as possible.
