My 3 month old cat, Lewie, has been acting very strange the last two days. He has been not "puking" but sort of like that, a white foam type of substance. He is sticking out is tongue A LOT and jumping around like he is crazy. He wont come near me at all anymore. I just wondering if anyone has every heard of this. I just want to make sure he doesn't have something that my 1 year old could be affected by. I am really over protective I admit. But if anyone has any ideas as of what is wrong with him I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

No, it doesn't sound like your cat is okay and there is no way someone online can tell you if it is dangerous to your child. You have to go to a vet.

Is your cat drinking water normally?

Don't even bother to answer. Just get the cat to the vet.

Well my cat Lewie is perfectly fine now and there was no need to rush him to the vet either. We took him and all he had was an upset stomach.

Well, I'm glad to hear that Lewie is ok. That's the problem with pets - they can't tell you how they're feeling, so taking it to the vet is always a wise decision. Unless, of course, you've had the same experience with your pet and know what it may be .

It's best to be safe.
