I belong to another site that also has a pets forum, there is a post there that one of the women made saying that her vet has taken all Science Diet products off the shelf due to a study that has found an alarming number of pets that eat SD are getting cancer...Has anyone else heard about this, I can't find anything on the net about it. Thanks. I feed my cats SD too.

Wow DG.

I knew a man who used to make home-made dogfood for his German Shepherd EVERY SINGLE day. I think I'd call that a bit extreme. If I was retired and had the time, I may do that. (He was a businessman, but was obsessed with cooking his own dog food.)
