does anyone have any suggestions on what to do about loose stool in cats? my 2 year old has been in great health and recently began having almost water consistency stool. anyone know anything?
Try some canned pumpkin mixed in with the food. "Water consistency" isn't exactly "loose", but this might help.
Get canned pumpkin (100% pumpkin, not pumpkin pie filling). You'd find it in your supermarket where pie fillings are sold, but just check the ingredients to make sure it's just pumpkin and not all the spices.
Add about 1 teaspoon to the food when you feed her. If this doesn't help at all and if it lasts more than a couple of days, a call to your vet might be a good idea.
