Just lately, my blood pressure has gone up from about 125/70 to 137/85 - "high normal range." I did have angina once but after a stress test the doctor said there is nothing wrong with my heart. I am 63 years old and my BP has always been normal. What's going on? eek eek eek

I wondered if you are taking more than one reading? I would take it frequently to get your normal. Are you eating alot of salt or products with salt and retaining water? I would keep a record of your blood pressure and check it at the same time during the day when you are resting. Was this reading taking at your doctor? I know alot of peoples bloodpressure goes up at the doctors office. Sam
