Nadca2, when I had a physical they did a blood chemistry panel & urine analysis...
It was required that I come back for the results so they could explain what each segment of the test was for, if you were within acceptable normal ranges, and if you weren't, what you could do to recify the problem. (cholesterol, etc...)
And if there is something that doesn't seem quite right, they'll probably want do more specific tests.
In any case, the fact that your doctor wants to review your test results in person shows that he's a caring person - he wants to explain them to you and not just give an "everything is OK" over the phone.
Personally, I appreciate physicians taking time with me to talk about test results. And I like doctors that explain things to their patients.
Good luck and let us know!

I'm sure after having gone in and had a one-on-one, you understand why they want you THERE instead of on the phone.
I'm very glad that everything came out ok, and that your doctor addressed the things you needed to watch for and/or treat (like the UTI).
Of course you come up with questions after you've had a chance to absorb the info...write them down, and then call your doctor and ask the questions over the phone: how can I maintain my protein levels and do I need to make diet adjustments for my blood sugar to help avoid possible problems in the future?
When you call, you might want to give the nurse or receptionist a heads up that you want to discuss your test results so he'll have your chart in front of him.
Good Luck! Giz
