If a person is given blood everyday, and has been for about 4 weeks, does it seems logical for the doctor to say that he doesn't know what's happening to the patient blood, where it's going? How could a doctor not know? The patient does have a blood clot in the leg.

Sounds like the patient is bleeding out somewhere - or has internal bleeding. I'd be bringing in a nuclear medicine specialist to inject radioactive isotops into a blood vessel so they could follow the flow of blood. That's one way to see where it is going.

Or he could have a type of cancer/leukemia, where his blood cells are not being produced properly.

Either way, the doc should be testing to see what is going on.
