I’ve been reading recently about some of the yellow fever epidemics that broke out on America’s East Coast in the late 1600s and early 1700s.

I was wondering, does yellow fever still exist, or has it been eradicated completely?

Thanks for any info.

Yellow Fever definitely still exists.. in fact it has had a recent increase in its infection rate. This illness is transmitted via mosquito bites.

Here is a link with more information.

Yellow fever no longer exsists in the United States. However, people who plan to travel to where the yellow fever does still exsist are required to take an immunization before they go. Here is a web page that discusses yellow fever.
