Ug. Well on Saturday night I got Stomach Flu. It came pretty quick, and I was throwing up into the night. But thats normal. From Saturday night on I've had a steady fever of 101°. I slept most of Sunday, stayed home from work and all, but I couldnt keep anything down either (i kept trying to drink water as its much less painful to throw that up then the lining of your stomach. Now its Monday and I didnt go to school, but whenever I stand up my head swims and I feel like someone has a vice on each corner of my brain trying to pull it out of my head, its worse than a hangover! but it goes away when i lay down. My head is swimming again as i type this, but not nearly so bad as when i'm standing up. I haven't taken any meds yet, like advil or tylenol because the fever will help to kill the flu, right? and if i drop my fever i'll probably have to go on antibitoics?

I've had my share of stomach flu before, but i can NEVER remember having a headache like this. EVER. Is something different? Or have i just been lucky the other times?

It's flu season: that may be what you have. It's not true that there's harm to taking ibuprofen or tylenol, or that losing your fever means you'd need antibiotics. Drink more fluid. Take ibuprofen. If you start getting a belly ache or don't get better soon, call your doctor.
