Depends a bit on what you mean by scar tissue. An incision is a scar, and some incisions can remain tender. By "scar tissue," some people mean "adhesions," which refers to the adherence of things within the belly that before having surgery were all slippery and shiny and slithered around without tethering. That kind of scar tissue can cause intestinal blockage, which is a pretty specific pattern of cramps, bloating, vomiting. Tenderness without any of those other things is pretty unlikely to be due to "scar tissue" of that sort. Having tenderness all over, with trigger points, is what some people call "fibromyalgia." It probably exists, but is -- in my less-than-expert-on-the-subject opinion -- way overdiagnosed.

Pardon me for the presumptuousness of trespassing in your territory, sid, but my sister-in-law, who suffers severe symptoms associated with it, had trouble finding a doctor who believed it actually existed.

I sometimes feel miserable from head to toe on days when the pollen count is high. So I lower the windows. Then, I feel better. Try to discover what's different about your environment, diet, habits, etc. when you feel achy.
