Is it true that some medications can cause and overdose if the patient has have grapefruit juice ?

Thank you, Sherasi, for that link. I am not taking any of the drugs discussed there, but some of their relatives. I'll be asking my pharmacist about this.

I worked as a pharmacy tech. and most meds unless specified on the label should be taken with water, that way no reactions can take place. Always ask the pharmacy if you have any doubts. I have trouble swallowing pills, they go down better with milk, but a few drugs will bind to milk and not absorb into the system.
