Can anyone tell me what it is? And what is Organic Brain Disorder?

A closed head injury is damange to the brain without having a fracture skull. organic brain disease is just that part of the brain is not working correctly and they can find no reason for this. Etiology unknown. sam

I am not a physician, but I also believe that Organic Brain Disorder can also include things such as Parkinson's Disease and MS.

There is a difference between the terms organic brain disorder, which means pretty much any disease affecting the brain, and organic brain syndrome (or chronic brain syndrome), which is somewhat general term for some forms of dementia related to alcohol, nutritional causes, etc. Closed head injury means any injury to the brain caused by trauma, not associated with fracture.
