What is the normal stay in the hospital for a stroke victim? I was in for ten days and have no clue as to what happened to me. The hospital turned me over to my doctor after three weeks of rehab and he was no help. Is that normal?

There are few "normals" in healthcare. Much depends on the severity of the stroke, the previous health of the stroke victim, and how much rehab is needed to be able to function again.
