I don't know much about Herbal Treatment, but this website seemed to have some interesting data.

Vertigo is a pain, and can be caused by so many factors. Of course, middle ear infection is one major cause of it but something as simple as sinusitis or change in the barometric pressure can cause it. I get it many times during the summer when the air is hot and heavy.

There are over the counter medications that can treat vertigo (or motion sickness) such as Dramamine or Bonine. And as Sher's link mentions, Ginger is a popular herbal remedy. That's why parents give children Ginger Ale for nausea.

Personally, I have used Natra Bio which comes in a liquid form. Simply place 6 drops under your tongue. It doesn't end the vertigo but it does relieve the nausea associated with it.

And this one can also be used to treat vertigo although primarily it is labeled for Arthritis.

But great care needs to be taken with homeopathic elixirs. First, they are alcohol based so you need to keep that in mind if the user ever is screened for alcohol. Secondly, the ingredients in all elixirs actually cause the offending symptoms when administered in large doses and some are even toxic such as Belladona. But when used properly, the minute portions you take actually ward off the symptoms.

Hope some of this information has helped you and your daughter.
