Hi, my neck, shoulder and arm pain just keeps coming back. I've done physical therapy and acupuncture - each helping in it's own way. Initially it was just my neck. Now it is shoulders, arms and an occasional dizzy spell. We're talking over a years time. I do suspect arthritis is also in play. Will a Neurologist help with all of this or just part of this? Are they just going to recommend surgery? EEEEk! I'm not into that idea.

I would see your regular physician to see what she says about it first. I've had similar problems for different reasons over the years (first time, fell at work... ended up going chiropractic for a pinched sciatic nerve...second time, pulled my trapezius muscle (back/shoulder muscle) and got trigger point injections for that from my doctor) but going through my doctor was always the first route to go.

What you are describing is too vague to even remotely guess if neurological issues are involved.
