My boyfriend has a lump, it's difficult to describe where it is. It's not on his testicle, not on his leg, but it's up in the fold where the testicle meets the leg. He says it doesn't hurt but at times it's uncomfortable. Does anybody know what this might be?

If the lump is in the scrotum above the testicle, it could be his normal epididymus, or a benign cyst or other growth. If he's worried he should see his doctor or get a referral to a urologist.

If the lump is in the groin, where thigh meets lower abdomen, it's often an enlarged lymph node. Causes range widely from some kind of infection or injury in the leg to (less likely) cancer. It should be checked out by his doctor.

Hard to be sure from the description, but hernia is a possibility as well.
