Probably one of the weirdest posts on here, huh? Well, here's the deal..I woke up this morning w/my eyelid being kind of sore, only right above where my eyelashes are on my top eye lid. And now a little red bump has popped up, not noticeable to anyone else, but I can tell and it's sensitive. Can pimples pop up on your eyelid or do I have some kind of infection?

It could be an infection.. and with it being your eye.. I'd get it checked soon.. not to risk your eyes.

I've never seen pimples on eyelids before.....

I agree with Sherasi, sounds like an infection or an allergic reaction to something... the skin around the eyes is very sensitive, so if you used a harsh soap, old make-up or a new brand of make-up or similar, it could be that.

I very much doubt it is an ordinary pimple, due to the type of skin on the eyelid.

It sounds like you may have a sty. Look here http://www.emedicine.com/aaem/topic423.htm

I'll agree with Gin, it sounds like a sty to me. I woke up with one once and no one else could really see it but I could feel it! The second day it made me look kinda lazy-eyed...
Of course, it had to be the night we were doing our drag talent show so I had to get up on stage for my act with one goofy eye... So it goes.
The doctor I saw suggested hot compresses to draw the pus-stuff out, and taking Tylenol for the pain.
I did that, and the sty was gone in a few days. Well, mostly. I could still feel a little lump with my eyeball for a couple of weeks afterward, but the hot compress got rid of most of the infection pretty quickly.

Yes, Gin and Elexina are right - what you have is a classic sty. Relief can be brought about about applying a warm compress (i.e. warm washcloth) to your eye. There is also an ointment that an eye-doctor can prescribe for you to use to reduce the swelling and help heal it. They are rather common and sometimes are nothing more than a clogged pore or an ingrown hair above the lash line. It's a nuisance, I know. But totally cureable and very well may occur again in the same spot.
