About 10 years ago I was diagnosed with severe GERD..for some years I was on Prilosec before it became OTC.

In 1999 my doc told me I would need to take Prilosec for the rest of my life - so of course, once Prilosec OTC came online, I was very happy. It costs me about $25 a month (from Costco), to get Prilosec OTC.

My issue is...recently, I've had acid attacks.

I've known all along what my problems were with GERD...but since then, haven't had acid attacks, until now.

Too weird that these problems showed up now?

I had to drink milk to calm the spasms...holy cow!
