There are many cleaners on the market for cleaning dentures. These will remove most stains. Polident overnight is just one of many available.

If you want to actually WHITEN your dentures you need to see your dentist. Many of the whiteners on the market are very abrasive and can lead to you scratching or harming the surface of your dentures. Dentures are made of many different materials. (different types of plastic, metal, porcelain etc...) Go see your dentist and he will tell you the right product based on your individual needs. He may even be able to whiten them in his office. Perhaps certain foods are worse culprits than others at yellowing dentures--just as they are at yellowing the real things. You may want to inquire as to any validity to such a phenomenon.

Some of my patients had a problem with coffee and smoking staining dentures. There are verious products on the market specifically made for dentures. And, as already suggested, you could speak to your dentist.

My brother is a dentist and I asked him about this. He said pretty much as above its best to see your dentist on this since something can damage your dentures.
