Diabetes doesn't cause ingrown toenails, it can cause complications to healing if you Do have diabetes. They are asking to know what kind of aggressive treatment may be needed to prevent infection, etc. Also, the doctors check for postural hypotension by having you stand and sit for Blood Pressures. Some people have a very slow stabilization of their blood pressure, this can cause problems. Here is some additional information.
