I know little about the condition myself, but I have always found Medline very good for info. This is their page on fibromyalgia. There is also this UK based site and this personal support center which look promising for good info.

I have had it for years. This is the only thing that I have found to help. I have been taking it for about a month. It is not available in the U.S. Milnacipran has been available in Europe for about 8 yrs. I just typed "milnacipran online" in the Yahoo Search bar and found a site in U.K. to order from.

Hey, Dixie, I also live in Mobile, and I have had it for years also, although was just recently diagnosed. I am interested in getting a support group together for this area, any interest in helping me?

Deb,
I was the one that suggested this site at immunesupport (dunnlb). I hope others respond.
I would probably be interested in the group.

Hi, Dixie

We are evacuating in the morning, headed for Monroe Louisiana, with my husband, my son and our two dogs. Just hope to have a home here to come back to. Are you staying or going? They are suggesting voluntary evacuation for Mobile.

there is a pretty good section on fibro on www.arthritis.org and if you poke around on the site, there are message boards that are full of knowledgeable people with fibro, rheumatoid arthritis, and a good number of the over 100 forms of arthritis.
