I read where now a low-grade inflammation can trigger heart attacks. The news paper said this can be a bigger trigger of heart attacks than a high cholesterol level. New federal recommendations are being written that will urge doctors to test millions of middle aged americans for it. It is done by a simple blood test. Has anyone anymore information on this? Thanks Sam

Blood test is called, C-reactive protein... It is a marker for inflammation and inflammation is part of artherosclerotic processes.
