A 62 year old coworker has been out of work for two months because of an irratic heart rhythm, pressure in her head, and dizziness. Her physician has been ordering tests. Two weeks ago, the diagnosis came back as osteoarthritis of the jaw. I have checked a few medical websites and the arthritis foundation for info concerning osteoarthritis. I did not see where this affects the normal heart rhythm.
Where can I find more dependable information on this topic? Are her symptoms normal with respect to the diagnosis?
there are many causes of arrhythmia, so it's nearly impossible to learn about it without knowing what specific type of arrhythmia the person has. Osteoarthritis is not a cause of any arrhythmia, however.
