As if I don't have enough problems at the moment lol! I decided to go on the depo shot six weeks after I gave birth in March and quit after the first shot(somewhere around July). Well, I finally got my first real period a couple of weeks ago. The problem is, last week when I should have been ovulating, I noticed some light spotting for 2 days. I had sex on the second day, so I know there's a slight possibility I could be pregnant.(Atleast I know who the dad would be smile) But the spotting, could that be effects of the depo shot and my body trying to get back to normal or could it be something more serious?

I've heard that spotting for the first couple months on that forms of birth control is normal. If you are worried, you can consult your OB/GYN or doctor.

I would recomend the same as Sherasi call your OBGYN office or clinic and ask them over the phone if this is a side effect from what I am taking. They should be able to answer your question. It very well could be the birth control but you gotta ask.
