Other than arm pain, what are the other potential reactions or side effects to the whooping cough/tetanus inoculation (one shot for both).

Can you link me to a resource please?

Ew.. bad. I was expecting things like "low grade fever, redness and discoloration lasting X amount of time.

Last Friday we got the booster, I am still slightly feverish and the spot is still swollen and red I was wondering if that was the "normal" side effects or not.

I'm sorry you had a reaction David Frown This is pretty much the same DTP shot that babies get, and I recall they always sent home a leaflet with care instructions, just in case. So minor side-effects are not uncommon. My kids would both get a fever for a day or so, and I would think the adult booster is quite a bit stronger. For the fever, Tylenol or Advil was recommended.

((((David)))) I hope you get to feeling better soon!
