Twice in the same day I was doing nothing unusual when I started breaking out in hives. This maybe lasted an hour or so with constant itching on my face,back, stomach legs . I used alcohol to rub ont them and finally took benadrayl to help. I know I have allergies but never have had this before. I was not around anything different or eating anything different. Any ideas?

While I can't suggest anything regarding what is causing your hives, I would like to offer one recomendation of a item that might help give you relief.
BTW, this is just my own opinion, I do not work for this company.

Try SARNA lotion. It comes in a pump bottle and believe me, I tried everything when I was covered head to toe in hives from a reaction to penecillin. Benedryl barely touched it.
Sarna lotion costs about $8.00 a bottle but it is worth every penny and then some. It was the only thing that helped me. I've recomended it to many people since and it has helped them too.
One more thing, for some strange reason its not the easiest item to find. Not all pharmacies/stores carry it. Just keep looking!
