I'm 17, and I've had a headache every day, all day, for five years. We have been to countless doctors. I've had every scan and test known to man, and no one can find the cause. I've been on several medications, like celebrex, imitrex, midrin, migranal, lexapro, and others. I tried accupuncture, physical therapy, yoga, cortisone shots, and nothing works. Even the strongest painkillers don't touch it. We even went to the American Migraine center, where the best headache doctor in our region couldn't fix it. Does anyone have any suggestions or ways to make this thing go away for good? It's ruining my life, and it's terrible to be in constant pain. Thanks-Larien.

It sounds like you need a second or even third opinion. Obviously there is something wrong or you wouldn't hurt. Here are some links that might be helpful.
There are all kinds of headaches. Based on my experience with migraines, my guess is that you have migraines and that they return to the same spot. First, you must just plain get in control of your life, eating and sleeping and doing other things on a regular, self-controlled schedule. Second, do not sleep on the affected side to avoid awakening with a headache, and make sure that your neck is very comfortable when sleeping. Third, avoid extreme changes in temperature even of the food which you eat. Fourth, cut out salt, food additives, food dyes, and any foods known to cause headaches. Fifth, since you are so afflicted, try eliminating all wheat and soy for a while after you have eliminated the suspect foods and done all of the other things. Sixth, avoid any glaring lights, and make sure that your eyes are okay. Seventh, avoid loud noises and headphones. Eighth, have the faith of God, envision His healing hands being placed on the afflicted part, and believe that He can heal you. I am sure that you will experience at least an improvement by practicing/trying to practice all of the above. You may also want to investigate whether such far out remedies as a low-dosage birth control pill would alleviate symptoms, because your headaches most closely coincide with puberty.
