Bendrofluthiazide is a Thiazide diuretic, and Furosemide is a loop diuretic... each drug accomplishes the same result but by different means and with different risks and benefits- your best move would be to ask your physician exactly why he thought the new drug was a better choice.

Thanks for that. Did a bit of digging and came up with this fact the New Drug is a "Low ceiling diuretic" meaning in Plain English it's Not as Much work on Your Kidneys (You know what I mean?)
Whereas High ceiling diuretics like Furosemide do Put stress on the Kidneys...Meaning If ya gotta go Ya gotta go!!
The "low ceiling" version expels the waste product via Perspiration and/or Via the Lungs Going to have coughing fits .Had that already Now I have another 3 months plus Coughing to look forward to OH JOY!
