I just got home from the doctor and they think I have Mono. My lymph nodes are swollen and Im running a fever not a high one..but, i know Ive not been kissing ANYONE! Mad Have any of you ever had this? I know they are waiting on my blood test. Being a nurse I know what it is but, I have not ever dealt with it at all. My biggest thing is Im so tired..I guess its like anything else maybe easier to get when your health is not the best anyway?

Here are several sites that provide information. You may not have to kiss someone, you can simply drink after or eat after someone (even inadvertantly) and get it. Also, it is a 30-50 day incubation period, so you coulda gotten it a while ago.

Exactly. It's called "the kissing disease," but that's not the only way to get it.

I hope you're feeling better, Sam. Just remember to take it easy. Mono takes a while to get over.

Sammy....tsk, tsk, tsk...what are we gonna do with you girl? I am truely sorry you are sick...do you ever have a good day? Big Grin

You know what you need to do to build up your immune system. The fact that you are always catching things is your body's way of trying to tell you something. Think it's time to listen? Or do I need to sic Puppy on you? Wink

Take it easy, mono can take months to recover from. Hang in there!
