For over one year - over 9.0 and up to 10.1 and Dr's are still shrugging their sholders. Tests incl. chest X-ray, upperGI w/ & w/o contrast, colonoscopy, endoscopy, and of course the perverbial gloved finger and card smear; at one point my GP RX'd anti-depressants to help me cope(lasted for 2 weeks) Now a new Dr(Gastroenterologist) has taken over the practice of the retired Dr I saw for test last year, and is dogmatic about seeing me in his office. I am weary; physically, emotionally and monitarily. Has anyone knowledge, experience, insight into this level being high with no apparent causation?! Anyone? I loath this appointment knowing he will limit the conversation to the areas in which this blocker indicates and I have never had difficulty.

no i've not personally experienced this condition but site medicinenet.com will give you some insight into benign reasons including family history, smoking, benign tumors... i do know this, i would refuse to have all the tests repeated so soon.
