The Enthusiast of the Year for 2005-2006 is Dwight. Dwight was in on AnswerPool before it was AnswerPool, alerting KK that our predecessor was closing, and on that basis alone deserves honors, but his contributions do not stop there. Dwight's expertise with computers has literally saved some people's computers, and his clear and concise explanations and willingness to work through problems has earned him a great deal of respect from both neophytes and experts. Dwight's opinions and help in other areas are marked by well-reasoned brevity, and are highly respected as well. Dwight has also been the Computer Moderator for almost all of AnswerPool's existence.

Sorry for being so slow in posting, Dwight.
Thing is, I was waiting for the awards ceremony when I handed over my AP sash to the new EOTY. The invitation never came Frown And I had rehearsed and everything. The speech about how I had had a wonderful year; how I'd got to travel and meet people all over the world as AP's ambassador; how my plans to work with children were ongoing...all that stuff delivered with tears of joy. Heck ! I'd even got the tuxedo back from the pawnbroker's.

Anyway, congratulations ! The award is thoroughly deserved for all the reasons given by others, and more Smile
