I had a pair of glass catfish...
rather interesting looking pair!

One of them has since died, and
now I have only one who seems to
hide in a hollow rock for most
part of the day! I hardly ever
see it!

I'm thinking that it's very lonely,
even though I have other fish in
the tank.

The others are Tetra, a couple of
Pictus catfish, and a couple of
Cory catfish.

What's up with the Glass catfish?

perhaps the other was it's mate. Can you get another glass catfish to see if he cames out of it? That might help.

if I'm getting a girlfriend or a
boyfriend for this girlfish or
boyfish...

I suggest getting at least 4 more so you have a better chance of getting a female

Thanks for you suggestion HEAT. Although that was 2 years ago and I have since lost interest in that hobby and gave all of my fish an excellent home. A friend (who breeds fish) was MORE than willing to take them all.
