I have recently started keeping goldfish. I have 2 calico oranda, 1 red and white, and 1 yellow and white. I would like to get some more fish and am wondering if any other coldwater varieties are compatible with fancy goldfish.

From the last paragraph it seems that your best bet is similar goldfish of the same size.

All gold fish are compatible caonsidering they are herbivores. But I sugest you only mix fancy goldfish because comet goldfish love to nip so they may nip on the fancie goldfish's tail.
