I have been invited to a Silver Wedding Anniversary celebration, and am really stuck for gift ideas.

I have known the couple about a year, but I do not know their likes and dislikes too well. I have never visited their home, so do not know their taste, or what they do and don't already have!

Can anyone please help with something more original than a silver photo frame.

What about some gift vouchers for a well-known store, then they will be able to choose something personal. I went to my mother-in-law's golden wedding recently and they received over £ 300 of vouchers which they put together and bought a wooden bench for the garden. They will have a constant reminder of their ' special day' for many years.
