What household product has recently decided to change its name to Finish ?

I have been puzzled by this one , but the answer is "Calgonite"

Close... it is a dishwashing aid. But not Calgonite, it is Electrasol.

but Electrasol is still on the market so I thought it was something that had disappeared off the market.

Here's an e-mail that I received from the Company based in New-Zealand.

"Thank you for contacting Reckitt Benckiser Australia as we are the manufacturer of Finish products for the New Zealand and Australian markets.

The Finish brand relates to dishwashing products such as Finish Powder, Finish 5 in 1 Powerballs, Finish Rinse Aid etc. Overseas, in countries such as England, the Finish brand goes by the name of Calgonite"

The makers, Reckitt Benkiser, are a British company, the result of the merger of a British firm and a Dutch one.They've always called the products 'Finish' in Britain.Never heard of Calgonite (and nor have Tesco, our biggest supermarket chain)

According to this link Finish and Electrasol are sold in separate world zones
And they may be on the verge of discontinuing the Electrasol line in North America, and selling the Finish range in its place?

The Finish brand is Calgonite in the United Arab Emirates.
