What was the first public forestry school in the US and who founded it?

Easy one FEDEX, that was Dr. Alwen Schenck who founded the Biltmore Forest School near Asheville, North Carolina. It eventualy went bust. He was probably an Eagles fan, too.

The Forest Academy at Mont Alto was founded in 1903 by Pennsylvania Governor Samuel Pennypacker.
